The Silent Auction will be on Friday, May 14th, held at The Cobourg, a beautiful wine bar located at 533 Parliament Street in the heart of Cabbagetown. The list of items up for auction include one of a kind, hand blown glass. Hand crocheted hats, Jewlery, Family portrait, Paintings and much more!
All of the donations will be going to an Orphanage in Port-au-Prince in Haiti. The building is unsafe to be in since the quake hit, so all the children are sleeping outside only being covered by a net which provides some shade from the searing sun, but not the rain. The orphanage is caring for 57 children from 11 months old to 14 years and are being begged to take more from parents that cannot care for their own children, but sadly have to be turned away because the orphanage does not have the resources and are struggling caring for the children they already have.
With your help and support we can help the orphanage rebuild a safe place to sleep for these already struggling children and provide them with enough food and resources to take on more children that are desperately in need of help.
